Large conveying capacity. Freight volume is from a few kilograms per hour to thousands of tons, and it is uninterrupted delivery, which the train and automobile transportation cannot catch up with.

High reliability. As the structure is simple and weight of moving parts is light, the life can reach ten years as long as the conveyor belt is not torn; and the metal structure parts cannot be damaged for decades as long as antirust is good.

Operating costs are low. The wearing parts of extensible belt conveyor only include the roller and drum, and the conveyor belt has the advantages of long service life, high automation and few required operators.

Low energy consumption and high efficiency. 

Simple structure. The structure of extensible belt conveyor comprises transmission drum, redirection drum, trough roller, parallel roller, driving device, conveyor belt and other parts; only more than 10 kinds of parts, which can carry out standardized production, and can be assembled according to the needs; and the structure is very simple.

In addition to reversed loader and tail with a lap in a length for the face fast moving forward, it also can make the body extended and shortened by retracting and extending the tape device and belt storage device, to effectively improve the down-channel conveying capacity and speed up backstoping and excavation speed.

The non-fixed part of the body adopts the fast changeable bracket without bolt connection. The structure is simple, convenient for disassembly, with low labor intensity, and short operation time. The adhesive tape tensioning device arranged on the fixed part of the body adopts an electric winch instead of the manual tensioning device.

The whole machine adopts the trough roller and lower roller and redirection roller of the same type. The sizes and the specifications are unified and they are interchangeable. The conveyor's electrical equipment has flameproof performance and can be used in mines with coal dust and gas. 

The extensible belt conveyor is mainly used for trough transport of the fully-mechanized coalface, and can also be used for down-channel conveying of general coal face and roadway excavation and conveying; and the conveyor belt has a storage device; and with the face constantly moving forward, the down-channel length shall constantly change or the length of roadway excavation shall change, in order to meet the need to be shortened or elongated.

Convey a variety of bulk materials and integrated articles whose bulk density is 500 to 2,500 kg/m³.

The applicable working environment temperature is generally -20 - 40℃. For the working environment with heat-resistant, cold-resistant, anti-corrosion, explosion-proof, flame retardant and other requirements, it is necessary to use special rubber conveyor belt and adopt corresponding protective measures. The conveying material temperature varies, depending on the conveyor belt, and the conveying material temperature of the ordinary conveyor belt is generally not higher than 60℃; heat resistant rubber belt can deliver high temperature materials below 120℃; when conveying acidic, alkaline, oily materials and materials with organic solvent properties, it is necessary to choose the rubber belt or plastic belt which is resistant to oil, acid and alkali.
